Bytebaq Professional extends the popular unlimited, fixed price model to server backup as well as workstations and laptops. Bytebaq Professional offers a more sophisticated interface including multiple data sets and an external monitoring console. It is the appropriate choice for business backup because should your computer be stolen or fail it is possible to order a full recovery of your data on DVD or encrypted USB disk. Learn more

The Hi-5 Portfolio

The Hi-5 portfolio can be used to meet the specific recovery profile of your business. With a service range that covers low cost solutions for data you will hardly ever need to access through to Hi-5 which gives you a recovery option close to the speed of full system replication at a fraction of the cost.

Hi-5 Managed Recovery Service
Recovery Time Objective: Typically 30 minutes Recovery Point Objective: 15 Minutes
Hi-5 is the right choice if losing this server would bring your business operations to a halt. Hi-5 is the option companies choose if losing a critical server would mean the loss of business or reputation. It features an unlimited data allocation and a Recovery Time Objective from full server failure of only 30 minutes in most cases plus a range of other valuable benefits, all for a fixed cost. Typically used for email servers, critical data base servers and domain controllers. Learn more

Vaulting Plus Managed Recovery Service
If a 30 minute recovery time is not needed, opt for Vaulting Plus for everything from file recovery through to point-in-time archive recovery. Vaulting Plus shares the Hi-5 unlimited data allocation and is also managed from the DataFort NOC in Surrey. You benefit from an automated recovery service that will protect your business from loss.

Data Vaulting Managed Service
DataFort’s Vaulting Service provides companies with an option that can be paired with critical servers using the Hi-5 or Vaulting Plus option. It is useful if you have a number of file servers needing a secure data (only) backup service where data is hosted both locally for speed of recovery with offsite copies for disaster recovery purposes. The service is streamlined and so is the price.
Note: the Data Vaulting Service is primarily available for companies using a Hi-5 backup strategy for their primary recovery mechanism.

DataFort Cold Storage™
If you are about to buy new servers or SANS to accommodate data you’ll rarely need to access but cannot afford to discard, consider instead using DataFort’s Cold Storage in concert with the Hi-5 strategy. You pick and choose which data is transferred off your primary data store and into the Cold Storage vault where it is maintained on RAID mirrored disk servers in 2 geographically diverse data centres. If you need to recover the whole contents of the vault or a filtered portion of it, access is just a phone call away.
Note: Cold Storage is only available for companies using a Hi-5 backup strategy for their primary recovery mechanism.
