DataFort Corporation Subsidiary Opens in New York City

New York and Guildford, Surrey UK - U.K.-based DataFort Ltd., a leading provider of managed offsite backup services, has launched a United States subsidiary, DataFort Corporation, headquartered in New York City.

DataFort Corp. will sell and market PCFort – a turn-key, secure offsite data backup service – to ISPs for their small office and home office (SOHO) personal computer users. PCFort offers the SOHO market the same secure data backup technology already used by large, multinational corporations and financial institutions.

Marcie Terman, Chief Operating Officer of DataFort Corp., will oversee the strategic launch of PCFort, the first of many services targeted at improving data security for SMBs. Terman previously was Business Development Director at DataFort Ltd.’s UK office.
