Viatel is a market leader in the delivery of high-quality, competitively priced communications and information services to businesses and carriers in the United Kingdom and, with its affiliates owns and operates one of the world’s largest fibre optic networks, which covers 21 key cities in Western Europe and the United States. Services offered by Viatel include Internet Protocol, ADSL, co-location, firewall and hosting.

2003 has been DataFort’s most active year to date. As well as their service being adopted by Viatel, February saw the announcement of free seminars on disaster recovery and business continuity for SMEs in conjunction with reseller Wizard Solutions. A major channel partnership initiative is also set for later this quarter.
