What is Bytebaq Professional?

Bytebaq is continuous data protection (CDP) of all the information stored on a customer’s laptop, desktop or server! Bytebaq has all of the features you expect from a professional offsite backup service except the continually escalating price.
Bytebaq Professional gives you everything you need to manage the service including a web portal to monitor your customers. It includes a variety of ways to deliver the service including:

How are payments managed?

In most cases payment for Bytebaq can be taken by the reseller or DataFort. The only exception is the boxed CD version which must be paid for in advance.

But however Bytebaq is sold the service has a fixed yearly subscription fee which covers the backup of all the information on the protected computer. The PC Edition has a fixed price whatever the disk size, the server edition has a service charge based on the size of the server disks.

There’s more data on my customer’s computer than we could recover over the Internet.	You can order encrypted USB disks delivered to your customers loaded with their entire data set.	Timely recovery from complete computer loss or failure is assured.
My customer has a pst file on their computer that needs to be backed up.	Bytebaq Professional allows the creation of multiple backup sets with different schedules.	By setting the .pst file to be secured once a week, you will not interfere with other parts of the backup.
My customer has salesmen in the field that never backup!	Bytebaq will backup automatically whenever connected to the Internet.	The service is automated so employee intervention is not an issue.
How can I be sure the customer is actually backing up?	Web portal allows you to monitor all your customers from your office.	No time consuming examination of each customer to check up on backup progress.
What if I cannot determine why the service is not working?	Second tier engineering support is provided as part of the service.	The DataFort engineering team will assist if you cannot determine why backups are not taking place.
